The Centre needs to raise over £150,000 every year.  It is your support that enables the Trust to maintain and fund the holiday programme for the 450 children who attend.

The centre is very grateful for one-off donations, which are vital for us to continue to provide the service for our children. But one-off donations may well not be repeated and this makes it difficult for the DCHC to plan ahead with any confidence. You can help by giving us a small amount on a regular ongoing basis - regular giving! You just decide how much you would like to give each month, usually by standing order, and fill out and return a standing order form to the FREEPOST address to be found on the contacts page. The rest will happen automatically.

Your regular gift leaves your bank account and reaches ours without any deduction, so 100% of your gift is used to provide holiday breaks for children. What's more, if you are paying tax on earnings, you can fill in a "Gift Aid Declaration" and then the DCHC will receive another donation without it costing you a penny more. This means the Inland Revenue is in effect making a donation to the DCHC.

This is entirely up to you of course, but we would like to suggest that the lower limit should be about £5 a month. You can, of course, change the amount at any time that you wish by simply telling your Bank or Building Society. The same applies if you decide to stop donating to the DCHC at any time.

The 450 Club is a group of very special individuals or organisations who are prepared to sponsor the holiday of one of our children each year, on a regular basis. This means the total of their annual gift, after reclaiming tax, is more than £330.

Every year we will write to you with details of the successes of the Centre, so that you can keep in touch with what's happening. We will also ask one of the children on a break in Skegness to send you a letter, through the trust secretary, telling you how he or she is getting on. Breaks start in April and go on through to October, so expect your letter between these dates. If you would like your letter to arrive on a particular month (perhaps in commemoration of a special person or event), then please let us know. 

That must be entirely up to you, but we hope that it will be for a number of years. However, we shall quite understand if you no longer wish to be a 450 Club member. But the benefit to the Centre in having 450 Club members is that we can count on a regular level of support every year, and our hard-pressed fund-raisers know how much needs to be raised to make up the difference.

Yes, of course, we would be delighted. An annual gift of £330 will ensure your organisation becomes a 450 Club member. We appreciate that Organisations may not be able to pay by standing order.
