A legacy from a supporter is truly appreciated by the Centre and helps to secure the holidays of less fortunate Derbyshire children We do recommend that you take legal advice prior to finalising your wishes, as such gifts can be beneficial to your estate.
You may wish to consider one of the following types of legacy:
A Pecuniary Legacy- a specific amount of money set out in your will.
A Specific Legacy- a non-money gift which is clearly stated in your will, for example- gifts of shares, bonds or personal effects.
A Residuary Legacy - Which is the residue of your estate (or a % of it) when all other costs and legacies have been made.
A Reversionary Legacy - When DCHC do not receive your legacy until another person who has the benefit of your estate whilst they are alive has passed away.
Subject to your wishes your legacy will be recorded in the Centre’s roll of friends.
