Come and join us for a fun but challenging day canoeing at the stunning surroundings of the clearwater Girton Lakes in Newark, rowing the distance of the English Channel.

The event was in the planning before the Covod-19 outbreak but will go ahead once safe to do so.

It’s a team relay so you don’t have to do all the work!!

Get your name on the list for when we get a firm date by contacting David Harris on 07941 829069 or email funding@dchc.org.uk

There are changing facilities at the sailing club with shower and toilets and tea and coffee can be provided.
Please bring with you a change of clothing, trainers and a towel and clothing to suit the weather. It can be quite fresh on the lake. You are able to picnic on the open spaces overlooking the lake and if you wish camp over night for £10 per tent. We plan to have a BBQ where you can purchase food.
